Responsibilities
- Develop and ship mobile features and interactive UI components with React Native.
- Optimize UI performance, responsiveness, app stability, and layout behavior across iOS and Android.
- Integrate backend APIs and state-management flows.
- Debug platform-specific issues and resolve edge-case bugs.
- Write unit and integration tests for new features.
- Participate in feature planning, engineering discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Product Management, UX/UI designers, backend teams, and other engineers.
- Own deliverables end-to-end and contribute to mobile architecture improvements.
Requirements
- Commercial experience building and shipping production-ready mobile applications with React Native.
- Strong hands-on proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript, including ES6+ and React Native fundamentals.
- Understanding of modern state-management patterns and tools such as Redux Toolkit, Zustand, and React Query.
- Knowledge of mobile UI/UX principles, component architecture, and layout performance.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests with tools such as Jest and React Native Testing Library.
- Familiarity with debugging tools and platform-specific issues across iOS and Android.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ownership of deliverables and willingness to learn.
- Willingness to work on-site in the Hungary office.
- Preferred: experience with native module bridging using Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, or Java.
- Preferred: familiarity with mobile CI/CD workflows, app-store publishing, real-time data integration, WebSocket connections, or 3D graphics rendering.
