Base Salary
$125k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop highly reliable autonomous software systems and testing for resilience, fault tolerance, and correctness.
- Design software for space vehicles and supporting ground systems.
- Build prototypes, analyze system metrics, and quantify technical constraints.
- Own software development from design and testing through release and flight operations.
- Provide technical leadership and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or another STEM discipline, or 2+ years of software development experience.
- Development experience in C, C++, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Preferred experience with fault-tolerant, distributed, or real-time systems.
- Preferred experience designing unit, integrated hardware-in-the-loop regression, and exploratory tests.
- Preferred knowledge of computer architecture, networks, physics, math, electronics, and Linux programming.
- Preferred skills in debugging, performance optimization, and performance testing.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, take initiative, communicate effectively, and adapt to changing requirements.
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed.
- Must satisfy applicable ITAR eligibility or authorization requirements.
