Responsibilities
- Design and implement tooling enhancements for reverse engineering workflows.
- Extend or integrate reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro and Ghidra.
- Develop automation for common reverse engineering tasks, including analysis and documentation.
- Apply AI-assisted techniques to binary analysis, annotation, and pattern identification.
- Support reverse engineering of Linux-based network devices and embedded platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address real-world reverse engineering challenges.
Requirements
- Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- At least 12 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or 16 years of experience in place of a degree.
- Hands-on experience with reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro or Ghidra.
- Experience with AI- or LLM-powered developer tools, including chat-based interfaces or automated coding agents.
- Strong understanding of assembly, binaries, memory, calling conventions, and other low-level software concepts.
- Experience developing software tools, scripts, or plugins for analysis workflows.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language commonly used in reverse engineering workflows.
- Preferred experience reverse engineering Linux-based network devices or embedded systems.
- Preferred familiarity with firmware analysis, bootloaders, and networking protocols.
- Preferred experience applying automation or AI techniques to reverse engineering tasks.
- Preferred knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages used in reverse engineering tooling.
