Base Salary
$166k - $296k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, reliable, secure, and performant AI services and platforms.
- Own services end to end from architecture and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and operational excellence.
- Drive technical strategy, architecture decisions, dependency management, and execution across complex initiatives.
- Partner with product, engineering, customers, and other stakeholders to align solutions with business goals and customer needs.
- Advance observability, automation, deployment safety, and operational efficiency through reusable platforms and frameworks.
- Champion system design, testing, security, privacy, compliance, and code quality practices.
- Mentor engineers and lead code reviews and design discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 8+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Experience coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft Cloud and applicable customer or government security screening requirements.
- Preferred: master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 12+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C++, C#, Go, Java, Python, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 8+ years designing and delivering highly available, large-scale cloud services and distributed systems.
- Preferred: 4+ years of technical engineering experience with machine learning or artificial intelligence systems.
