Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor engineers through one-to-ones, code reviews, design discussions, and career development.
- Improve the team’s development practices, tooling, and workflows.
- Work with customers and internal delivery teams to clarify priorities, requirements, and technical solutions.
- Lead technical estimation, solution design, implementation, and delivery for customer-facing projects.
- Coordinate with partner teams and own technical quality, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead system design, architecture reviews, technical decisions, and long-term planning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer-facing issues through root-cause analysis.
- Build knowledge of TeamViewer Frontline capabilities and customer workflows and share feedback internally.
- Provide occasional on-call coverage for L3 support without a fixed rotation.
- Travel approximately two to three times per year for up to one week per trip.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring, React, SQL, Git, and JSON.
- Professional written and spoken proficiency in English and German.
- Ideally, eight or more years of software engineering experience.
- Experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain is advantageous.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is advantageous.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools and techniques is advantageous.
- Strong interest in coaching and mentoring, ideally with experience in a similar role.
