Responsibilities
- Scale data processing and storage systems from terabytes to petabytes and beyond.
- Build and maintain bidirectional, real-time integrations with EHR systems.
- Improve core systems to support 100x growth in practices, patients, and developers.
- Own cross-functional projects from technical design and decomposition through launch and rollout.
- Partner with engineering leaders and product managers to define, prioritize, and deliver engineering goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer focused on scalable backend systems and platforms.
- Deep experience integrating and scaling storage systems and cloud-native services.
- Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and PostgreSQL, or equivalent databases, clouds, or container platforms.
- Knowledge of common DevOps tools and practices.
- Strong understanding of quality and security engineering principles.
- Systems-level understanding of distributed systems, component interactions, customer journeys, and data flows.
- Technical leadership, ownership, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
