Responsibilities
- Develop and improve Java-based products, including ProGuard, DexGuard, and future Java technologies.
- Research, test, and implement code-hardening, optimization, and application-processing techniques.
- Work with Java bytecode, compiler technology, build pipelines, and complex application-processing workflows.
- Maintain and continuously improve a large, mature codebase.
- Investigate, reproduce, and debug complex technical issues.
- Help customers integrate and use the software, collaborating with customers and internal R&D teams.
- Improve software quality through extensive testing and track developments in Java, compiler technology, mobile application security, and reverse engineering.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Excellent Java skills and experience with large or complex codebases.
- Experience with Linux, low-level programming, and debugging.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly.
- Interest in software security and reverse engineering.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of compiler technology, Java bytecode, complex application processing, information security, reverse engineering tools, code obfuscation, optimization techniques, Android, Gradle, and ProGuard.
