Base Salary
$126k - $345k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end systems engineering across secure on-premises infrastructure and cloud-native platforms.
- Integrate hardware, orchestrate infrastructure, configure secure systems, and develop bespoke operational tools.
- Design and deploy scalable infrastructure supporting distributed cyber operations.
- Ensure platform reliability, performance, and security according to mission standards.
- Support classified mission environments, including potential CONUS/OCONUS travel and work in SAPF/SCIF facilities.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of systems engineering experience with an enterprise infrastructure or cybersecurity foundation, or a related technical degree.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph eligibility.
- Deep Linux administration expertise, including Ubuntu and RHEL, plus familiarity with Windows and virtualized platforms.
- Expertise with BGP, OSPF, VPNs, and network integration.
- Hands-on experience with Ansible, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Current CCNA certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days.
- Proficiency with containerization using Docker and Podman and infrastructure as code using Crossplane, Pulumi, and Terraform.
- Desired qualifications include SDN, network virtualization, automation in classified environments, RMF, NIST 800-53, cyber operations, advanced threat detection, infrastructure testing, Azure, and relevant cloud certifications.
- Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS up to 25% annually and work in SAPF/SCIF environments.
