Responsibilities
- Build robust, scalable, and high-quality automation solutions for functional and regression testing.
- Prepare, maintain, implement, and review test cases based on user stories and business requirements.
- Build, customize, deploy, and manage reusable test automation frameworks.
- Maintain traceability from business requirements through test cases to automated scripts.
- Execute tests, report issues and risks, track defects to closure, and collaborate with developers and delivery pipeline teams.
- Construct end-to-end business scenarios and develop a detailed understanding of delivered products.
- Identify and manage environmental and test-data dependencies.
- Provide guidance to colleagues on test coverage and test cases.
- Maintain process compliance and associated documentation, including test plans, strategies, and post-testing reports.
- Develop quality automation code and ensure extensive test coverage.
- Align risk and control processes with daily responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of related experience or QA testing experience.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on test automation experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field such as Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Experience using Java, TestNG, and Selenium.
- Firm knowledge of API- and UI-based automation standards and best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of automation design patterns such as the Page Object Model and software development methodologies.
- Strong debugging and triage skills.
- Experience testing APIs with Postman or RestAssured.
- Experience with multithreaded test execution.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, manage multiple responsibilities, and operate in an enterprise agile environment.
