Responsibilities
- Set up tools such as Azure DevOps to enable test automation and downstream process integration.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Establish efficient test-data generation with fewer dependencies on external teams.
- Perform manual testing and identify opportunities to automate manual test coverage.
Requirements
- Around two years of commercial experience in a similar role is preferred.
- A hybrid software development and testing skill set is mandatory.
- Strong C# programming skills and experience with manual testing are required.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, preferably Azure DevOps, and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber for Java, Reqnroll for C#, or Behave for Python is required.
- Understanding and direct experience with databases, web services, APIs, and cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure are required.
- An automation mindset, interest in innovation and continuous improvement, self-sufficiency, and willingness to cross-skill are expected.
- Experience building a test automation solution from scratch is a plus.
- ISTQB Fundamentals, Test Automation Engineer, AWS Cloud Practitioner, and Azure Fundamentals certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
