Responsibilities

  • Define and implement embedded system architectures for RF front-end and transceiver platforms.
  • Develop firmware and low-level drivers for RF control, calibration, and signal processing.
  • Integrate RF hardware, including PAs, LNAs, filters, tuners, switches, and transceivers, with embedded software systems.
  • Research adaptive RF control methodologies for beamforming, dynamic tuning, and coexistence.
  • Prototype and validate algorithms for RF calibration, power management, and signal integrity.
  • Develop automated test frameworks and perform system-level debugging, profiling, and optimization for real-time performance.
  • Validate compliance with LTE, 5G NR, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with RF design, silicon, hardware, and systems engineering teams to optimize hardware/software interfaces.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to documentation, IP development, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of embedded systems engineering experience focused on RF systems.
  • Strong proficiency in C and C++ and embedded software development for real-time systems.
  • Experience with microcontrollers, DSPs, FPGAs, and SoCs used in RF applications.
  • Strong understanding of RF system design, calibration, and control.
  • Familiarity with spectrum analyzers, VNAs, and oscilloscopes for system validation.
  • Preferred experience with embedded Linux, RTOS, and hardware abstraction layers.
  • Preferred knowledge of digital signal processing for RF applications.
  • Preferred familiarity with SPI, I2C, PCIe, and Ethernet in RF systems.
  • Preferred track record of patents, publications, or contributions to embedded RF technologies.
