Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain electronic table games using C# and Unity3D.
- Translate game specifications into reusable, scalable, maintainable, and performant software.
- Implement gameplay programming, UI/UX, animation systems, game-state management, and performance optimization.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, code reviews, and defect resolution.
- Optimize rendering performance, memory utilization, and application responsiveness for fixed hardware and embedded gaming platforms.
- Collaborate with Game Analysts, QA teams, artists, and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in technical design and architecture discussions and maintain technical documentation.
- Communicate project status, risks, challenges, and recommendations to team members and management.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on Unity3D experience, including gameplay programming, UI/UX implementation, animation systems, game-state management, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming principles.
- Knowledge of software architecture, design principles, MVC, Observer Pattern, State Machine, and Dependency Injection.
- Experience designing reusable, scalable, and maintainable software components.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Experience with source control and version management tools such as Git, Perforce, or SVN.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks, continuous integration practices, and quality assurance methodologies.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, profiling, and performance analysis skills within Unity.
- Experience developing games or applications for Electronic Gaming Machines, Electronic Table Games, or other regulated gaming environments is highly desirable.
- Experience in regulated industries, knowledge of casino gaming systems, progressive jackpots, or multiplayer game architecture is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related technical discipline.
