Base Salary
$90k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimize digital platforms, websites, layouts, interfaces, functionality, and navigation for virtual veterinary care.
- Transform wireframes and design concepts into functional web applications using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Build responsive Shopify storefronts using Vue and Tailwind, including Shopify Storefront and Admin API integrations and Shopify Checkout UI Extensions.
- Develop and deploy feature variations to measure performance, inform product decisions, and improve conversions.
- Optimize applications for speed, performance, browser compatibility, and device compatibility.
- Integrate RESTful and other APIs with back-end systems to ensure smooth data flow.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and back-end developers to implement aligned, usable product experiences.
- Stay current with technologies and tools and contribute innovative ideas to company products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any field or foreign equivalent.
- One year of experience in the offered role or as a Front-end Engineer, Front-end Developer, Web Developer, or in a related occupation.
- One year of experience with Git and GitHub for version control, including branching, merging, and pull requests.
- One year of experience with modern JavaScript, including ES6+ and asynchronous programming.
- One year of experience using TypeScript to build scalable applications with strong typing.
- One year of experience with modern CSS, responsive design, and preprocessors such as Sass.
- One year of experience building Vue.js applications using Vue Router, Vuex or Pinia, and single-file components.
- One year of experience developing and customizing Shopify themes, Liquid templates, and apps, including third-party plugins and APIs.
- One year of experience integrating RESTful APIs into front-end applications, including data fetching, authentication, and dynamic content.
- One year of experience with GraphQL, including schema design and client-side integration.
