Responsibilities
- Design and develop distributed database components related to HBase.
- Design and develop single-node LSM engine components related to RocksDB.
- Design and implement offline and real-time data architectures for large-scale recommendation systems.
- Build flexible, scalable, stable, and high-performance storage systems and computation models.
- Troubleshoot production systems and implement mechanisms and tools to improve production stability.
- Build distributed offline and online storage, batch processing, and stream processing frameworks for massive data and large-scale business systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science or a related field.
- At least 4 years of relevant development experience and strong programming ability.
- Proficiency in one of C, C++, or Java.
- In-depth understanding of distributed systems architecture and principles.
- Experience managing large-scale data.
- Preferred: involvement in open-source projects and enthusiasm for advanced technologies.
- Preferred: knowledge of Paxos or Raft and distributed transaction models.
- Preferred: proficiency with storage engines including RocksDB and deep understanding of Redis internals.
- Preferred: low-level operating systems knowledge and experience optimizing TCP/IP, I/O operations, and other critical components.
