Responsibilities
- Translate UI/UX concepts into clean, maintainable code within existing frontend applications.
- Refine component hierarchies and champion scalable frontend architectural patterns.
- Enforce a cohesive design system and deliver polished user experiences.
- Partner with Product Owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional engineers to clarify functional and non-functional requirements.
- Modernize frontend codebases and manage tradeoffs between engineering constraints and user experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field from an accredited college or university.
- At least 4 years of UI/UX design experience.
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Extensive experience with Figma, Adobe XD, Penpot, frontend architectures, APIs, WebSockets, Cesium, and Angular.
- Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, Docker, Git, and PrimeNG.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Node.js, Docker Swarm, GitLab CI/CD, Python, Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana, Traefik, other TypeScript/JavaScript frontend frameworks, and design thinking.
