Responsibilities
- Define the Perception architecture for the Nuro Driver.
- Develop training techniques for the Perception Foundation Encoder.
- Compress raw sensor data into a unified feature representation.
- Impact functionalities like object detection, online mapping, and unusual scene understanding.
- Balance model performance, onboard latency, and maintenance complexity.
Requirements
- Ph.D. level research experience in multi-model models and large-scale model training.
- 3+ years of significant contributions to machine learning projects.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience in Python and C++.
- Publications in major conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, and NeurIPS.
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics to diverse stakeholders.
