Responsibilities
- Rapidly build and iterate on frontend interfaces that surface backend capabilities.
- Produce polished, production-credible demos that build stakeholder trust while accurately reflecting product capabilities.
- Maintain a shared design system and reusable UI primitives.
- Implement interaction quality, including loading states, error handling, and feedback loops.
- Integrate directly with APIs built by the backend lead.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, v0, or equivalent as a core part of the workflow.
- Contribute to decisions about when demos are ready for stakeholder exposure.
Requirements
- Senior-level frontend engineering judgment and the ability to independently own a full UI surface.
- Production experience with a modern component framework, with React preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to produce polished, production-credible user interfaces quickly.
- Active use of AI-assisted development tooling.
- Comfort working from intent rather than detailed specifications and making independent judgment calls.
- Experience with internal tools, dashboards, or workflow UIs is advantageous.
- Experience working in a small team or startup environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with design-system or component-library maintenance is advantageous.
- Experience in fintech or regulated industries is advantageous.
