Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, operate, maintain, and improve high-scale applications across the full engineering stack.
- Design and develop cloud-native microservices using Java, Spring Boot, GCP SDKs, and GKE/Kubernetes.
- Deploy and release software using Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, Helm Charts, and Terraform.
- Integrate systems with internal systems, Data Fabric, and the CSA Toolset.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technology roadmaps, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other team activities.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues affecting network or service operations and quality.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while collaborating with a globally distributed engineering team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 5 years of experience writing, debugging, and troubleshooting Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- At least 5 years of experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure and with designing and developing cloud-native solutions.
- At least 5 years of experience designing and developing microservices using Java, Spring Boot, GCP SDKs, and GKE/Kubernetes.
- At least 5 years of experience deploying and releasing software with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and working with infrastructure-as-code concepts, Helm Charts, and Terraform.
- Preferred experience with Dataflow, Apache Beam, Bigtable, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Google Cloud Storage, Composer/Airflow, Angular, Bootstrap, J2EE, SOA, source control systems, Maven, Gradle, relational databases, Atlassian tools, modern JDK versions, and automated testing tools.
