Base Salary
$75k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug mission-planning applications and systems.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and support software builds, installations, and deployments.
- Set up Development, Test, and Build environments and create or update Windows installers.
- Develop test plans, procedures, reports, traceability matrices, automated test strategies, and testing requirements.
- Perform smoke testing, acceptance testing, formal test-event support, troubleshooting, and software verification.
- Collaborate in cross-functional Scrums to develop mission-planning features and resolve technical issues.
- Support software and hardware integration, customer technical interfaces, and contract deliverable documentation.
- Serve as a Scrum Master when required.
Requirements
- Software Engineer level requires a STEM bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 0 years of experience; relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
- Principal Software Engineer level requires a STEM bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience; relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
- Current DoD Secret clearance adjudicated within the last five years, with ability to obtain Top Secret and SAP clearances.
- Experience with Agile practices, CI/CD tools such as Bamboo and Jenkins, software testing, test procedure development, and formal test events.
- Proficiency in C# and/or Java, object-oriented software design, and Microsoft Windows technologies.
- Experience with YAML, Python, PowerShell, Batch, or TypeScript scripting.
- Experience with automated testing or TestComplete 4, revision-control systems such as Bitbucket, Git, or CVS, and hands-on system troubleshooting.
- Preferred qualifications include .NET Framework, WPF, gRPC, REST, DOORS, SQL, Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Jira, Confluence, Crucible, FishEye, and mission-planning domain experience.
- Preferred qualifications also include CompTIA Security+ or Scrum Master certification, Infrastructure as Code experience, and active Top Secret or SCI/SAP access.
