Responsibilities

Analyze user requirements and derive software design and performance requirements.
Design, code, modify, debug, and integrate software systems and applications.
Develop algorithms, database interfaces, queries, and data repository solutions.
Develop and customize applications involving Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service Catalog, ITOM, ITSM, HRSD, CSM, and Service Portal capabilities.
Review and test software components, execute test procedures, resolve software problem reports, and perform quality control.
Prepare and review software and system documentation and recommend improvements to development standards and processes.
Analyze system performance, data usage, system flows, work processes, and problem areas to develop software solutions.
Coordinate software installation and monitor equipment functioning against operational specifications.
Confer with system, hardware, and other software engineers to derive requirements and understand project constraints.
Serve as an appropriate-level team lead and oversee one or more software development teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, with four years of additional similar software engineering experience accepted as a substitute.
Four years of IT application systems experience in technology solutions delivery.
Two years of experience developing and customizing core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.
Required ITILv2 certification.
Required TS/SCI security clearance with a polygraph.
Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and with databases, software development, application integration, and complex algorithms.
