Responsibilities
- Advise clients on secure private cloud and platform engineering architecture.
- Define target-state architectures, security standards, governance models, policy-as-code, and non-bypassable security guardrails.
- Design secure Internal Developer Platforms and repeatable golden paths across applications, Kubernetes, and infrastructure.
- Drive DevSecOps and runtime security transformation across CI/CD pipelines, identity and access architectures, secrets management, and software and AI/ML supply chains.
- Address AI-accelerated vulnerability discovery, exploit chaining, and emerging AI-driven threat models.
- Lead pre- and post-sale client engagements, including workshops, pilots, solution shaping, technical delivery, and thought leadership.
- Support private cloud modernization programs involving sovereignty and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in platform architecture, platform engineering, or security engineering with a strong advisory focus.
- Demonstrated experience designing and guiding platform transformations rather than only implementing them.
- Deep expertise in DevSecOps, secure software delivery, and CI/CD pipeline security integration.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes security and platform design principles.
- Experience defining policy-as-code, governance models, and security frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with identity, access control, and secrets management.
- Experience addressing AI-accelerated attack patterns or advising on AI-driven threat models and defenses.
- Preferred experience with VMware Cloud Foundation, NSX, vDefend, or other private cloud platforms.
- Preferred exposure to AI-enabled security tooling, modern threat response, Internal Developer Platforms such as Backstage, behavior-based or runtime detection, pre-sales or client advisory engagements, and sovereignty or regulatory requirements.
