Base Salary
$179k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Help scale and expand Patreon's tax platform for global compliance.
- Lead development of tax systems for sales tax, income tax, invoicing, and reporting.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and tax operations to build finance-related solutions.
- Develop full-stack features using React, TypeScript, Python, and MySQL.
- Support Tax Operations by debugging data issues and building internal tools.
- Contribute to a product-oriented engineering culture and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software development.
- Strong attention to user experience, data integrity, and engineering detail.
- Comfortable working on both frontend and backend code.
- Experience in service-oriented architecture.
- Proactive communication with peers and cross-functional partners.
- Experience in payments and tax domain is a plus.
