Responsibilities
- Lead full-stack web application architecture and development from inception through delivery.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on full-stack development practices and professional growth.
- Set platform architecture direction, team goals, and feature roadmap priorities.
- Collaborate across Lunar Permanence and multidisciplinary teams to understand needs and deliver platform solutions.
- Analyze customer data, application usage, and performance to troubleshoot and improve stability.
- Develop tooling and process improvements for safety-critical software development.
Requirements
- B.S. or higher in computer science, computer engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 12 years of professional experience.
- Experience developing and architecting full-stack applications, improving stability through monitoring and code reviews, and designing SQL and NoSQL databases including InfluxDB.
- Experience with React or Next.js, RESTful APIs using Python, NodeJS, or Go, and data engineering pipelines.
- Experience with unit testing, test-driven development, Linux, Docker, configuration-as-code tools, cloud resources, physical workstations, and source control workflows.
- Ability to work independently, lead teams, and communicate across multidisciplinary business units.
- Preferred experience with C/C++, Rust, ThreeJS, Datadog, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Agile practices, aerospace safety-critical software, and standards including NPR 7150.2D, DO-178C, DO-278, or DO-330.
