Responsibilities

  • Implement cybersecurity solutions for assigned systems and services using established designs, patterns, and configuration guidance.
  • Perform basic threat modeling, vulnerability checks, security testing, and penetration-test support using defined methods and tools.
  • Integrate and configure information security technologies in test and production environments under supervision.
  • Investigate straightforward security issues, perform initial analysis, apply documented fixes, or escalate as needed.
  • Maintain security baselines, guardrails, and control settings for assigned applications and services.
  • Participate in incident response activities for less complex incidents using playbooks and approved tooling.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to apply security guidelines and secure-by-design practices.
  • Document work, share technical learnings, and progressively take on more complex assignments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
  • Basic technical knowledge of cybersecurity principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Proficiency in implementing and managing information security technologies.
  • Preferred: experience with security automation and orchestration tools.
  • Preferred: familiarity with emerging cybersecurity technologies and trends.
