Responsibilities
- Help design and build automated testing frameworks for smart home devices using Hardware-in-the-Loop and Software-in-the-Loop setups.
- Identify edge cases and support risk-based prioritization of automated testing.
- Assist with integrating automated firmware tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Translate requirements and risk assessments into traceable test cases.
- Perform log analysis, investigate security-related findings, and support mitigation across hardware, firmware, cloud, and mobile applications.
- Explore AI tools and data-driven approaches to improve test automation and quality.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong interest in software quality and test automation, with project or coursework experience using Python and LabVIEW/TestStand test systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and interest in firmware testing.
- Understanding of threat modeling and risk assessment principles.
- Understanding of wireless communication protocols such as Zigbee, Matter, BLE, Wi-Fi, or LoRaWAN.
- Analytical problem-solving and root cause analysis skills, with curiosity about AI-assisted test automation.
