Senior Software Engineer, Vendor Data Platform

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and run the platform end to end across backend and frontend systems.
- Build and maintain APIs used by other systems and screens used by platform operators.
- Own vendor data mastering, matching, deduplication, reconciliation, and data-quality checks.
- Scale the platform across multiple client tenants and growing data volumes using asynchronous and event-driven processing.
- Collaborate with the Tech Lead on architecture and with product on priorities.
- Maintain quality through code reviews, testing, and a disciplined development process.
- Own work from initial design and scoping through production delivery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with real production ownership.
- Strong Python and modern API development experience.
- Frontend experience with Angular or React and TypeScript.
- Solid SQL and relational data modeling skills.
- Experience with Azure or AWS.
- Experience building multi-tenant or multi-client systems.
- Experience with event-driven or message-based architectures.
- Ability to work independently, partner closely with product, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bonus: experience with large messy datasets, matching, deduplication, transformation, reconciliation, entity resolution, or record linkage.
- Bonus: background in payments, accounts payable, fintech, or fund administration.
- Bonus: familiarity with AI-assisted matching and hands-on use of AI development tools.
