Responsibilities
- Contribute directly to feature development and maintenance of a global B2B commerce product.
- Build and maintain tooling for test development, automation, and release-process improvement.
- Develop backend solutions using Java and related frameworks.
- Provide quality strategies supporting team delivery goals.
- Apply software testing practices including unit, integration, regression, stress, and automated testing.
- Collaborate with product, design, and technology colleagues while advocating for user experience.
- Follow development best practices and continuously improve processes and solutions.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, or a related computing field.
- Strong backend development experience with Java.
- Strong fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and problem solving.
- Experience with RESTful services and microservices.
- Advanced knowledge of Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring MVC, or similar technologies.
- Advanced knowledge of design patterns, development best practices, and software testing concepts.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure.
- Advanced written and spoken English communication skills.
- Experience working on Agile projects.
- Ability to communicate clearly, solve problems creatively, and work autonomously on priorities and improvements.
