Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain embedded software and firmware for microcontroller-based systems.
- Design real-time applications using RTOS.
- Implement and troubleshoot SPI, I2C, UART, and CAN communication protocols.
- Use PX4 or ArduPilot autopilot software for development and integration.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers on software and hardware integration.
- Diagnose and resolve system issues and bugs.
- Use Git for version control and collaborate on code management.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and follow software development best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming.
- Experience with microcontrollers and RTOS.
- Familiarity with SPI, I2C, UART, and CAN communication protocols.
- Proficiency with Git for version control.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Strong problem-solving, attention-to-detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Preferred experience with PX4 or ArduPilot, autopilot software development, aerospace, UAV, robotics, defense, or industrial automation.
- Knowledge of hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers is advantageous.
