Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously optimize security automation solutions to meet stakeholder needs and changing security conditions.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the threat management automation strategy and roadmap.
- Develop solutions using Python, web technologies, API integrations, and workflow automation platforms.
- Create technical and user documentation to support team knowledge sharing, implementation, and adoption.
- Provide consultation and ongoing support to help users adopt solutions and realize business value.
- Research new technologies and tools, present solutions to leadership and colleagues, and gain stakeholder buy-in.
- Execute development activities using an iterative Agile/DevOps approach and adhere to policies, procedures, and control standards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including architecting, designing, and programming.
- At least 3 years of programming experience in Python.
- Expertise in web development and RESTful and SOAP web service integrations using JSON and XML.
- Strong experience with Windows and Linux environments.
- Knowledge of common network protocols, including TCP/IP and HTTP.
- Knowledge of modern digital architecture, including cloud, container, messaging, and microservices technologies.
- Experience with workflow automation platforms.
- Experience with data analytics and building machine learning models is preferred.
- Experience working in information security is preferred.
