Responsibilities
- Develop low-level safety-critical firmware in C or Assembly for ARM V7/V8 SoC systems.
- Integrate safety-critical software into system software stacks while considering performance, freedom from interference, and multicore architecture.
- Independently design and implement software that satisfies assigned requirements.
- Perform verification and automation activities appropriate to the required safety integrity level.
- Collaborate with hardware design teams to clarify requirements.
- Develop documentation supporting safety assessments.
- Communicate results, issues, concerns, and risks to management.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C and Assembly language.
- Experience with FPGA- and SoC-based systems.
- Understanding of ARM V7/V8 architecture, Cortex A53, R5, and A72 processors, bus protocols such as AXI and AHB, and peripherals including CAN, Ethernet, USB, SD, and memory controllers.
- Hands-on experience developing embedded software, including drivers, BSPs, boot code, and boot loaders.
- Understanding of system software stacks including Linux, VxWorks, and hypervisors.
- Strong debugging, analysis, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
