Responsibilities
- Partner with startups to identify opportunities where Codex can improve software development and delivery.
- Design and lead technical talks, live demos, workshops, hackathons, and repeatable hands-on programs.
- Build Codex workflows, integrations, and automations for selected customers, while resolving technical blockers and evaluating effectiveness and reliability.
- Create reusable code examples, guides, and tools based on successful customer approaches.
- Collaborate with account teams, developer experience, and ecosystem partners to prioritize opportunities and drive customer value.
- Translate customer experiences and developer feedback into actionable insights for OpenAI’s Product, Research, and Engineering teams.
Requirements
- Experience building at, founding, or working closely with early-stage startups.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and an interest in building practical AI applications, integrations, and developer tools.
- Active use of Codex or other AI coding tools, with a thoughtful perspective on improving software development.
- Ability to present technical topics, deliver live demos, and lead hands-on workshops for developers and founders.
- Ability to explain complex technical ideas clearly and create engaging examples and reusable resources.
- Strong developer empathy, technical judgment, troubleshooting ability, and ownership of reliable adoption workflows.
- High agency, curiosity, independence, and ability to collaborate with colleagues and ecosystem partners.
