Base Salary
$113k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own GenAI strategy and implementation for high-impact operational workflows and teams.
- Build, deploy, and maintain end-to-end AI tools used in daily operations.
- Solve practical problems across aviation, logistics, fulfillment, maintenance, customer operations, and commercial teams.
- Partner with operators, engineers, product teams, and business leaders to define user needs and technical approaches.
- Bring field learnings back into Zipline’s broader AI tooling, platforms, and best practices.
- Travel to Zipline headquarters and field sites as needed, potentially up to 50% of the time.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience building, shipping, automating, scaling, or otherwise delivering useful production systems; no specific degree is required.
- Experience building GenAI solutions and a strong understanding of the AI landscape.
- Experience with LLMs, data-processing pipelines, and analytics tools.
- Foundational machine learning knowledge, including evaluation, training concepts, and problem decomposition.
- Strong coding ability in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, C++, or similar languages.
- Ability to decompose ambiguous business problems into reliable technical workflows.
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teammates and iterate directly with users.
- Interest and ability to travel to Zipline sites as needed, potentially up to 50%.
