Base Salary
$119k - $206k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver native Android features through coding, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Contribute to architecture decisions for the Homepage Android experience and broader mobile platform strategy.
- Drive complex cross-functional projects, identify risks, and keep delivery on track.
- Conduct code and build reviews, mentor teammates, and contribute to coding standards and guidelines.
- Improve engineering velocity through reusable Android components, tooling, and better code patterns.
- Share knowledge with the team and broader Android community.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional native Android development experience using Kotlin, with familiarity with Java.
- Deep proficiency in Jetpack Compose and the Android View system.
- Strong understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and modular application design at scale.
- Experience with GraphQL and RESTful APIs in a consumer Android context.
- Experience with Gradle and knowledge of mobile CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong decision-making, collaboration, communication, learning, and cross-functional skills.
- Experience mentoring peers and contributing positively to engineering practices and team culture.
