Responsibilities
- Develop a breakthrough idea or software solution for a complex customer challenge.
- Work collaboratively on an intern team in a startup accelerator-style environment.
- Apply software development best practices and learn new languages and frameworks.
- Produce technical documentation and create design artifacts.
- Present the team’s solution to senior leadership in the final Challenge Cup competition.
Requirements
- Experience with .NET, C++, JavaScript, Java, or Python in a professional, academic, or internship work environment.
- Knowledge of software development best practices.
- Ability to learn new programming languages and frameworks.
- Ability to work in groups.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Scheduled to obtain a bachelor’s degree in a technology, engineering, or mathematics field by Summer 2028 or Summer 2029.
- Technical documentation, design artifact creation, critical thinking, analytical skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills are preferred.
