Responsibilities
- Explore, develop, and deliver machine learning and deep learning technology for personalized recommendations.
- Own ML problems end to end from data exploration and feature engineering through model training, evaluation, and production deployment.
- Design, train, and optimize production models using PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Contribute to experimentation frameworks, A/B testing, and offline model evaluation.
- Maintain and monitor production models, diagnose issues, and improve reliability at scale.
- Apply responsible AI practices addressing fairness, transparency, and safety in model development and deployment.
Requirements
- Around 3 years of hands-on experience building and shipping machine learning models in production.
- Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with an ML framework such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Industry experience researching or applying machine learning, particularly in recommender systems, ranking, or personalization.
- Understanding of MLOps and infrastructure concepts including CI/CD for ML, feature stores, model serving, observability, and versioning.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP in cloud-native environments.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and model evaluation techniques.
- Ability to apply ML techniques and emerging tools, including LLMs, responsibly.
- Preferred experience with recommendation systems, ranking, search, personalization, transformers, graph neural networks, contrastive learning, or multimodal embeddings.
