Responsibilities
- Manage interface requirements, integration patterns, iFlow designs, mappings, scripts, adapters, endpoints, security, and dependencies.
- Lead the development and review of reusable iFlows using routing, transformation, enrichment, split, aggregation, persistence, and exception patterns.
- Assure approved connectivity and payload standards across REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC, SFTP, HTTP, JMS, and related interfaces.
- Maintain RAG ratings, design decisions, defects, risks, dependencies, and remediation backlogs with owners and acceptance criteria.
- Plan unit, SIT, performance, regression, and cutover validation using production-representative messages and operational evidence.
- Lead distressed integration diagnostics, stabilization, turnaround planning, remediation governance, and recovery execution.
- Facilitate client and systems integrator workshops, coach developers, assure deliverables, and escalate critical interface risks.
- Apply approved AI tools with human validation, confidentiality, security, bias awareness, traceability, and policy compliance.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience is required; the posting also describes a typical range of 10–14 years in SAP, middleware, integration, or enterprise application delivery.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- SAP BTP Integration Suite and Cloud Integration experience, including enterprise integration patterns, iFlow design, message mapping, security, monitoring, testing, and SAP S/4HANA integration.
- Experience with REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC, SFTP, HTTP, JMS, XML, JSON, CSV, XSLT, Groovy scripting, certificates, OAuth 2.0, and mTLS.
- Experience with reusable integration standards, version control, transport or CI/CD, non-functional testing, operational monitoring, incident management, and audit evidence.
- Demonstrated ability to improve interface reliability, defect containment, operational stability, cutover readiness, or stakeholder confidence.
- Relevant SAP certification or training in SAP Integration Suite, Integration Developer, BTP administration, API management, event-driven architecture, or related technologies is desirable.
- Exposure to Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR, procurement, customer-process integrations, or regulated and audit-sensitive environments is desirable.
