Base Salary
$115k - $122k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop mission-critical real-time embedded software for custom hardware and NSA-certified cybersecurity devices.
- Design, code, integrate, test, debug, maintain, and refresh software across long product lifecycles.
- Translate concepts of operations, specifications, and requirements into software designs, code, test plans, and executed tests.
- Work with concurrent programming, systems programming, hardware interfaces, device drivers, serial communication protocols, and high-speed data systems.
- Define work scope, schedules, and expectations; execute assignments with limited guidance and provide technical direction and leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM field plus at least two years of relevant experience, or a master's degree plus six months of relevant experience.
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at the time of hire, with eligibility for access to classified information.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Experience with real-time embedded software, preferably on Linux.
- Experience with C or C++ systems programming; Rust experience is preferred.
- Experience with software design, coding, integration, and testing.
- Preferred experience includes heterogeneous computing, SELinux, ARMv8, serial communication protocols, hardware interfaces, device drivers, and computer networking.
- Ability to work on complex systems, take initiative, execute with limited guidance, and provide technical direction.
- Proficiency with software tools for integrated development, version control, defect tracking, and scripting.
