Base Salary
$175k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and own the iOS and Android test automation that runs in our CI.
- Deliver quality signals on nightly, weekly, and release builds.
- Automate user interactions in the app and verify results.
- Document failures to assist engineers in troubleshooting.
- Help triage bugs and differentiate between various problem sources.
- Enhance test robustness and reliability with better isolation and checks.
- Maintain synchronization of dashboards, TestRail, and release notes.
Requirements
- 7–8 years in software QA/test engineering, with 4+ years in mobile test automation.
- Hands-on experience with mobile frameworks like XCUITest, Espresso, or Appium.
- Strong scripting/programming skills for building tools and harnesses.
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to debug flaky failures and prioritize testing based on release risk.
- Comfortable with frequent changes in builds and incomplete specifications.
