Responsibilities
- Explore and apply AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve security solutions and operational capabilities.
- Contribute to the design, engineering, prototyping, and integration of new security tools and capabilities.
- Develop and refine tools, dashboards, and automated workflows to accelerate investigations and incident response.
- Analyze security tool coverage across endpoint, network, and cloud environments and recommend enhancements.
- Support log collection, analysis, and engineering across firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise platforms, and operating systems.
- Assist with project and initiative tracking, deliverable organization, progress monitoring, and stakeholder communications.
- Evaluate new hardware, software, and SaaS technologies and communicate technical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a similar area of study, or four years of related experience in place of the degree.
- Preferred exposure to or interest in AI/ML concepts and scripting or automation using Python or PowerShell.
- Preferred familiarity with low-code/no-code development platforms such as Tines, Okta Workflows, or Power Apps.
- Preferred familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, or log management tools.
- Demonstrated curiosity about emerging technology and creative problem-solving.
