Responsibilities
- Contribute to software development tasks involving backend services, desktop applications, automation, tooling, or integrations.
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews with mentor support.
- Create and improve automated tests and assist with software validation.
- Troubleshoot defects through reproduction, root cause analysis, and proposed fixes.
- Produce technical documentation such as README updates, how-to guides, and design notes.
- Collaborate with a global team through planning, daily syncs, retrospectives, and iterative delivery.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- English proficiency in written and spoken communication.
- Solid foundation in programming fundamentals, data structures, basic algorithms, and debugging.
- Ability to learn quickly, communicate clearly, and take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Preferred experience with Git and pull request workflows.
- Preferred familiarity with Agile practices, basic CI concepts, and at least one of C#, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C/C++.
- Personal, academic, or open-source projects, GitHub or portfolio evidence, and participation in student groups, hackathons, or technical communities are additional preferred signals.
