Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance shared user interfaces and experiences across Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and Freeform.
- Build and deliver software features from concept through completion.
- Collaborate with human interface designers, quality assurance teams, and cross-functional partners.
- Influence user interface design and project planning.
- Understand non-technical users’ needs and develop appropriate solutions.
- Navigate large codebases and contribute to sustainable software development.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience with Swift or Objective-C.
- Object-oriented design skills.
- Experience planning and delivering software projects with cross-functional teams.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Empathy for user experience and attention to visual detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred: macOS development experience, experience with large codebases and teams, concurrent programming experience, and effective use of AI for coding.
- Preferred: ability to work independently in minimally documented codebases and contribute to an open and inclusive environment.
