Responsibilities
- Design and develop test software for transceiver modules.
- Develop test software using full object-oriented design within an existing system framework.
- Support web applications and dashboards.
- Develop, integrate, and automate test hardware equipment.
- Travel to Coherent sites in Ipoh, Thailand, China, and the United States.
- Attend training in Ipoh for at least three months or longer depending on performance.
- Work after office hours or on weekends when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Software Engineering.
- At least three years of related work experience.
- Experience with C#, VB.NET, and object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge of basic electronics.
- Strong test hardware equipment development, integration, or automation experience.
- Optical transceiver testing experience is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in English; Mandarin is an advantage.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel and undertake training in Ipoh.
