Responsibilities
- Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications.
- Design, scope, and implement cloud-based tools and AWS cloud hosting solutions.
- Develop cloud-based backup and recovery solutions, including failover zones.
- Apply AWS billing and accounting best practices to minimize service oversubscription.
- Develop image processing, data exploitation, and analysis algorithms.
- Implement automated testing, automated deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and branching strategies.
- Create complete solutions using front-end and back-end languages.
- Acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization.
- Collaborate with teams to develop solutions to complex problems.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications.
- At least 7 years of software development experience with programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks.
- Experience coding in Python.
- Experience leading end-to-end design, scoping, and implementation of cloud-based tools.
- Experience with image processing, data exploitation, and analysis algorithm development.
- Experience with AWS cloud-based hosting, backup and recovery, and failover zones.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph, or willingness to take a CI polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, aerospace engineering, or an engineering field.
- Preferred experience with front-end and back-end development, Git-based software configuration management, and containerization tools and techniques.
- A master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is preferred.
