Responsibilities

  • Write production code and build features for medical-device or digital-health products.
  • Solve bugs, debug systems, improve user experiences, and develop tools that enhance products.
  • Create automated tests and participate in software design, coding, testing, documentation, code reviews, and release preparation.
  • Work with experienced software engineers and cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Learn and apply medical-device development processes, quality, reliability, cybersecurity, testing, and documentation practices.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related engineering field.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming using C#, Java, and/or C++.
  • Basic experience with Python.
  • Familiarity with source-control tools such as Git.
  • Basic debugging and troubleshooting skills, curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies.
  • Preferred qualifications include GUI or application development exposure, CI/CD tools and concepts, software development lifecycle and testing concepts, software projects, communication skills, and technical writing or presentation experience.
