Responsibilities
- Design and build systems for automated operational workflows and insights into global network data.
- Identify and eliminate workflow bottlenecks caused by inefficiency, manual toil, and technical debt.
- Generate telemetry and improve observability for network infrastructure.
- Design maintainable, robust code and continuously improve backbone monitoring and operations.
- Support and deploy cloud-native third-party software using infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Develop and maintain network telemetry and automation software, source-of-truth systems, metric agents, time-series databases, dashboards, and alerting.
- Contribute to full-stack system design and implementation.
Requirements
- Experience contributing to the design and implementation of full-stack systems using appropriate tools and frameworks.
- Ability to identify operational inefficiencies and develop software solutions to address them.
- Ability to maintain and enhance network telemetry and automation software stacks.
- Consistent application of software development and SDLC best practices.
- Ability to understand complex, interconnected systems and contribute proactively to their reliability.
