Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of software solutions from inception through production.
- Design and code resilient, performant, available, and scalable applications.
- Lead the team in delivering product solutions and resolving complex technical issues.
- Write code and unit tests, perform code reviews, and ensure code quality and security.
- Design, plan, and execute unit, component, integration, and end-to-end regression testing strategies.
- Document solution designs and engineering decisions.
- Coach and mentor other engineers while fostering continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams on estimates, technical challenges, and business-aligned solutions.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot software defects, performance bottlenecks, and system failures.
- Identify optimization opportunities, manage costs, and track effort in time-management tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Strong frontend and backend development experience.
- Extensive experience with Next.js, React, Java, and database technologies.
- Proven experience leading teams and delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture, algorithms, design patterns, configurations, integration, and implementation options.
- Advanced debugging, diagnostics, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams on complex technical challenges.
- Experience evaluating software solutions and best practices for product implementation.
- Understanding of software lifecycle models, optimization tools, and application testing.
- Ability to lead solution design and architecture in alignment with business and technical requirements.
