Responsibilities

  • Design and architect end-to-end industrial automation solutions.
  • Lead technical discovery workshops and define customer requirements.
  • Develop control system, software, network, and cybersecurity architectures.
  • Support strategic pursuits, proposals, demonstrations, bid defenses, and proofs of concept.
  • Build brownfield modernization roadmaps and migration strategies for installed-base customers.
  • Advise customers, partners, account managers, and internal teams on technical solutions.
  • Define integrated system architectures and coordinate technical and commercial proposal development.
  • Support opportunities throughout prospecting, qualification, pre-sales, proposal development, and presentation stages.
  • Position Rockwell Automation solutions against competitive offerings and participate in win-strategy processes.
  • Develop business-value-oriented solutions that improve productivity, quality, reliability, and sustainability.
  • Use the Integrated Architecture Builder and equivalent tools to define solutions.
  • Submit at least one application per month to the Innovation Center, increasing to two later.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Engineering, or a related area.
  • Good spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Five or more years of experience in commercial or project management roles is preferred.
  • Experience working with end users, EPCs, OEMs, distributors, and system integrators is preferred.
  • Industrial and technical background is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Rockwell Automation technologies, including PlantPAx, Logix platforms, FactoryTalk products, PowerFlex drives, industrial networks, and industrial cybersecurity, is preferred.
  • Experience with control, DCS, SCADA, HMI, network, software, and cybersecurity architecture design is preferred.
  • Experience with brownfield modernization, migration planning, technical proposal development, solution positioning, value selling, and competitive differentiation is preferred.
  • Industry experience in oil and gas, mining, chemical, food and beverage, life sciences, water and wastewater, power and energy, or other process and hybrid industries is preferred.
