Responsibilities
- Design and architect end-to-end industrial automation solutions.
- Lead technical discovery workshops and define customer requirements.
- Develop control system, software, network, and cybersecurity architectures.
- Support strategic pursuits, proposals, demonstrations, bid defenses, and technical proposal presentations.
- Build brownfield modernization roadmaps and migration strategies for installed-base customers.
- Act as a technical advisor to customers, partners, account managers, business units, and internal teams.
- Define integrated architectures and solutions that fulfill customer needs and support expected productivity and financial outcomes.
- Deliver proofs of concept and participate in the Win Strategy Process when needed.
- Develop strategic market and product-line business plans, marketing programs, market analyses, partnerships, and make-versus-buy evaluations.
- Submit at least one application per month to the Innovation Center, with the expected amount increasing to two later.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in business, engineering, or a related area.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
- Five or more years of experience in commercial or project management roles is preferred.
- Experience working with end users, EPCs, OEMs, distributors, and system integrators is preferred.
- Industrial and technical background with experience in control, DCS, SCADA, HMI, network, software, and cybersecurity architecture design.
- Experience with brownfield modernization, migration planning, technical proposal development, solution positioning, value selling, and competitive differentiation is preferred.
- Knowledge of Rockwell Automation technologies including PlantPAx, Logix control platforms, FactoryTalk products, PowerFlex drives, industrial networks, and industrial cybersecurity is preferred.
- Knowledge of process and hybrid industries such as oil and gas, mining, chemical, food and beverage, life sciences, water and wastewater, and power and energy is preferred.
