Responsibilities
- Lead the technical direction of the DevOps function and define standards and architecture for cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and platform security.
- Design, deliver, and continuously improve scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud platforms for development, testing, and production environments.
- Drive operational excellence through improvements in reliability, performance, security, governance, monitoring, and cloud cost optimization.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to DevOps engineers, support career development, promote engineering best practices, and contribute to recruitment and onboarding.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions and manage improvement initiatives.
- Act as an escalation point for complex technical challenges.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, containerized platforms, and modern DevOps toolchains.
- Deep technical background in DevOps, cloud operations, and cloud security, including secure-by-design practices and operational maturity.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience in complex production environments.
- Experience leading, mentoring, and developing engineers while fostering a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture.
- Experience delivering technical projects and platform improvements with cross-functional engineering and product teams.
- Preferred experience evaluating, developing, or deploying AI-powered tools and solutions for engineering productivity, operational efficiency, or platform capabilities.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, Large Language Models, and modern AI frameworks relevant to DevOps and platform engineering.
