Responsibilities
- Drive the Paid MarTech team’s technical roadmap and architectural decisions for reusable, scalable systems.
- Improve developer productivity through processes, tools, abstractions, and code-quality practices.
- Lead team-wide and cross-team initiatives while partnering with senior Product and Marketing leaders on strategic and technical decisions.
- Champion observability, resilience, chaos engineering, disaster recovery, cost optimization, and security-by-design.
- Mentor engineers up to L5, document processes, and resolve cross-team execution blockers.
- Establish infrastructure, tooling, coding standards, architectural patterns, and technical review processes where needed.
Requirements
- Require 8–12 years of software engineering experience with technical roadmap and team-level architecture leadership.
- Require expert-level Python proficiency and experience designing reusable abstractions, frameworks, and patterns adopted across projects.
- Require deep knowledge of scalable, high-throughput systems, observability, cost efficiency, and security.
- Require experience influencing product roadmaps through strategic technical opportunities and partnering with senior Product and Marketing leaders.
- Require a track record of process improvement, tooling development, mentorship of senior engineers, and cross-functional execution.
- Preferred qualifications include AI-assisted development infrastructure, ad tech and marketing technology expertise, legacy modernization, technical debt management, coding standards, architectural patterns, technical reviews, crisis consulting, and external cross-pillar collaboration.
