Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable code for Choice Native Mobile Apps.
- Contribute to the software engineering team and collaborate with Product, Design, Analytics, and other stakeholders.
- Write unit tests and deliver well-tested code to QA.
- Participate in sprint demos and retrospectives.
- Support and enhance mobile applications in the Digital Experience Domain.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of experience with Unix/Linux and one of the many shells.
- At least 1 year of experience using source control, preferably Git.
- At least 1 year of experience writing mobile application code using Java, Swift, or Kotlin.
- Experience writing unit tests with JUnit or Espresso.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, written, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Desirable qualifications include Android Architecture Components, app release processes, Gradle, Jenkins, and UI/UX design experience.
